The name of the Lodge is taken from the motto of the company "Amicitiam trahit Amor" which means "Friendship Draws Love"
The Lodge was consecrated on 29th October 1945 and has No. 6123 on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England. As a Lodge associated with a Livery Company, it is part of an informal group comprising over twenty "Sister City Livery Lodges"
The members are liverymen of the Worshipful Company and the Lodge therefore provides another opportunity to liverymen who have a common interest in Freemasonry to widen their circle of friendships within the membership of our Livery Company in a very happy atmosphere.
The regular meetings are held at the hall of the Worshipful Company of Bakers, 9 Harp Lane, London EC3 on the third Tuesday in October (Installation), first Monday in December, second Tuesday in February and the fourth Wednesday in April. They usually commence at 4.45 - 5.00pm. Dinner follows.
